Rachel

She has a broken heart, broken dreams,
A broken life
It's a never ending nightmare playing on.
She'll search for love, search for peace,
She'll search for truth,
But there seems to be no bringing on the dawn.

She's Rachel weeping for her children
And no one knows the pain she feels inside
She's the victim of a heartless generation
They'll never know how many tears she's cried
Her baby's not the only one who's died.

She's tired of guilt, she's tired of grief,
And feeling numb,
She's tired of all the lies that she's been told
By people who pretend to care, to feel her pain
She no longer buys the goods that she's been sold.

She's Rachel weeping for her children
And no one knows the pain she feels inside
She's the victim of a heartless generation
They'll never know how many tears she's cried
Her baby's not the only one who's died

But for those of you with broken hearts
And broken lives
Who were made to feel you had no other choice
There's someone you can turn to who knows
What you've been through
So in faith and hope and love
Lift up your voice saying
No more Rachel weeping for her children
'til there's no more feeling emptiness inside.
No more living in a no win situation
No more nights of endless tears to cry
'til no more women have to say I bought the lie.
No more choice to make and no more tears to cry.
No more tears to cry.
